Title.

We’ve gotten less attractive since a few decades ago for sure. I feel like we’re in a cultural shift right now and soon we’ll really start seeing all the new futuristic shit. It’s all starting to come together and we’re on our way to the next definitive era.

The question is will this more convenient way of life make us more or less attractive than we are right now? I feel like it could go either way tbh.

nigga barely anyone is even having kids

My belief is that the answer is no, but that's just kind of by definition. Average will always be average, with outliers being considered attractive or ugly.

Take for instance height, women don't care about having a guy who is above x cm tall, or taller than them, or whatever. Rather, attraction comes from a guy being significantly taller than other dudes in the woman's environment. 183 cm might cut it in China but it won't in the Netherlands. I believe (although I, admittedly, can't prove) that it's the same with facial attractiveness.

this just isnt true if you watch at a street interview from 40 and especially 60+ years ago you'll see that people are about the same level in looks or look worse on avg then than now

to answer your question OP i think people will look better in the future as more and more people are getting in the gym and are caring about their looks

People will always remain the same and always have

Nobody has gotten less attractive, that’s legit just perception and propaganda. Don’t look at actors for proof of average face back then

This could be true, especially as quality of life increases around the world. Better lifestyle globally might mean better attractiveness globally too.

But I'm pretty sure that average will still be average, even if the future average mogs the current average. I have personal experience with this: I was at 2 camps recently, in the first camp I was probably the most gl guys facially, and had a pretty good height + body, so the girls at camp gave me a lot of attention. But in the second camp I got teramogged by like three 6'5 guys who were lhtn-mhtn facially. I was, subsequently, given a lot less attention from the girls.

Ahhh I see. So you’re saying the gap between good looking and ugly will increase but it will actually average it out?

I guess what I'm saying is that what creates attraction is being hotter than average. If we lived in a world where the average guy looked like Sean O Pry then the threshold for being considered attractive would be ludicrously higher than it is today.
