Considering like 90% of modern popular music revolves around the mating ritual we can only expect it to become more animalistic, less lovey dovey IMO. This has already occurred to a great degree but I feel like old cultural hallmarks will only continue to dissolve as our society becomes increasing degenerate.

Look at popular culture.

The peak of romance was the 60s, which coincides with the best economic condition of the middle class in recorded history. The general goal of dating in movies is the eventual marriage.

Then in the 80s-90s we had "drama romance", generally with a happy ending, but with lots of suffering in the middle. This is also the rise of the "bad bitch" meme. People form unstable relationships.
STDs are on their peak. People have the most sexual partners on average.

Then we have "fucking no strings attached" type of romance starting from the 2000s, with the most iconic artwork "Sex and the City". People in movies still meet each other, but there's no emotional attachment.

Today we've already encroached on the territory of incel culture. People don't have sex, they're lonely and foids in general congregate around a bunch of chads who establish harems, but don't give said foids any emotions, only semen.

Mainstream is getting redpilled at accelerated pace too. Go watch "500 days of Summer", that's especially good if you're right after a rough breakup (or in the middle). Watch with a pack of razors.
