Presuming AI makes a large percentage of the population essentially redundant in terms of productivity the power will continue to shift to the high IQ creatives who are able to exploit extremely low labour costs and easy access to high-quality manufacturing to acquire ever greater amounts of capital, while most of the rest of the population is dependent on welfare. This combined with advances in aesthetic treatments and procedures would mean that this high IQ class would have access to power, wealth AND looks. It would therefore make sense to select for IQ and creativity/original productiveness rather than physical appearance.

high IQ people reproduce less because they think its inconvenient for them. they may well also be ugly and high inhib. and im not talking about which is going to become more numerous and have more children. im talking about which will be more desirable. the people with all the resources who can get surgery or the people with no resources who are mostly totally dependent on the other class. if procedures advance to the point where anything above a truecel can ascend, and one group of people totally dominates societys resources, then looks are, in most cases, no obstacle for them. it therefore makes sense, if that situation were to come about, or just beforehand, to have kids with someone who is high IQ and above truecel appearance.

what im saying is that the concentration of resources in high IQ hands and advances in aesthetic technology will make aesthetic genetics almost irrelevant past a certain point, certainly much less important than IQ genetics

A LOT of people have the money to looksmax but they don't b/c they don't care... for most people over the age of 25 dating/sex is at the bottom of their list otherwise all guys would be gymcelled getting plastic surgery.

not sure i agree with this. most people nowadays arent married by 25 and one still has a strong libido at that age. i think a lot of it is ignorance and inibition, and subsequently a fair bit of coping. also the idea that most straight men around them arent doing it, ie standards are low so they dont feel the need (more cope) plus bad habits and hormonal dietary issues etc prevent personal progression
