Will training neck make my ramus less visible?

My neck is underdeveloped, but I dont want to compromise my ramus visibility. Can I still train neck?

yes you can train neck without ruining ramus visibility. keep bodyfat low and avoid blowing up your traps. focus on front, back, and side neck curls with bands or plates. deep neck flexors + SCM = cleaner support look. don’t ego lift. keep posture clean. it’ll actually enhance your jaw if done right.

also off topic. the "beard hair" you have besides your ears, is that something people prefer or think looks good. i have been trying it myself and cant figure it out on my own. although can i see on the second picture that you shaved it as i normal would. what do you go with yourself?

I have tried both and think it looks better a little more grown out. My jaw is not that wide so I think a little bit longer “beard hair” makes a illusion that it’s wider. So if you have a relatively narrow jaw like me I prefer to have it a little bit longer

Its mostly determined by BF % so you dont have to worry about your ramus

You’ve got strong dimorphic features, well above average. I’m always surprised how guys like you can have such a developed facial structure, yet still have a relatively underdeveloped neck.

My bone structure is trash, but my neck is in the 99th percentile, and that’s without any specific training.

And yeah, your goal is possible, as long as you stay relatively lean

Thanks bro. I have always had a small neck, but I started training my neck now so hopefully it will grow within a couple of mounts with consistent training. I have always held very little fat in my face and especially neck. In all these pics I’m between 17-20% bf

Probebly a more optimal way to train neck, but here is what I do (the names are probably not correct haha):
- 2 sets of front curls
- 2 sets on both sides on side curls
- 2 sets of “back of the neck curles”

I do it just laying over the edge of my bed

I just press down on my head using my hands to regulate weight

Bc there’s nothing left for you to do besides neck training and infras
Honestly I’m really really side profile dominant, so I think I could improve my front a lot. But thanks though really appreciate it
