If it is a hormonal issue (puberty) yes, otherwise no. Go on accutane if you are done puberty.

Yes, androgens make your skin oily. 10mg Accutane EOD works for me.

I've done experiments using 0.05% daily only vs accutane only and I can say tret is only 20% as effective. With the tret my skin glows and acne is reduced but I still get the heavy oiliness and a couple of white heads. On accutane my skin is 100% clear.
