No it will get worse, as people have less and less real life engagement they will have to rely on looks/pictures online to gauge someones social worth.

Also with the abundance and ease of communication getting to know peoples personality is redundant, people will gauge your personality by your image.

Also imo its easier to behave more psychopathic online therefore you can convert someone's worth into numbers online via their looks which is harder in real life.

Basically it will be like Japan.
