Some time ago I wanted to learn how to use linux, however, I realised I am neither a nerd nor do I like men.
So I decided to be a man and take the hard route, debloating windows and making it as private as possible.
WARNING: THIS REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE 5 EURO TO YOUR NAME IF YOU WANT TO DO IT PROPERLY
This is the way to make windows 11 a good OS:
1ST STEP: FRESH INSTALL
You will need to delete everything and freshly install windows 11. It WILL ask you to sign in. This is what you are gonna do:
Hit create a account instead of sign in when it asks you. Create a account with a temp mail from here https://temp-mail.org/en/
Fake country, fake name, fake dob, etc.
If it asks you name and and something like : or use a online account, below it , just don't lol.
SECOND STEP: SETTING UP VPN / bROWSER
Firstly you will go here to debloat windows.
Download talon. Don't run it. go to your antivirus settings and add your C drive as a exclusion.
Open talon and start installing
The computer should restart. If it fails to do so it means you moved your cursor or something during the installation
process.
It should look something like this while installing

Secondly you will go on edge to download librewolf/mullvad browser.
You will use mullvad browser with VPN ACTIVE until you've set up everything after that you switch to librewolf (is faster)
mullvad browser install
librewolf install
After downloading your browser of choice you will than go ahead and do either one of two:
Pay 5 euro (or 4.5 with crypto) for a month of mullvad vpn :
mullvad.net
YOU CAN ALSO USE IT on 4 OTHER DEVICES FOR THIS PRICE SO ADD TO UR PHONE TOO
Tutorial how to pay:
1 Install the app.
2 Go on website.
3 Generate a account code (that you will save)
4 Put code into vpn app.
5 Click add time or whatever it says
6 Buy yourself a month
7 When payment is received connect to a country like idk cyprus
THIRD STEP: QUALITY OF LIFE STUFF
For this you are going to download a few things.
Firstly you want to download this tool https://windhawk.net/
its a tool that adds stuff to windows
You are going to add these mods and have these settings:
Classic context gives you the old windows 10 like options when you right click da desktop
Legacy search bar fixes your search bar
Windows 11 taskbar styler makes your windows mog
After setting up your desktop should look kinda like this
(somewhat dif as i have two monitors and dif bg)
After doing all this you are going to install a email client and making a new email for your non personal (non school non work etc stuff).
Just use protonmail
As for creating the new email just make a proton mail with fake info lmao.

The next step is making sure shit works.
WE are going to download the next few softwares:
Nvidia drivers (unless you have amd than download amd drivers)

https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html > for amd drivers
FOR NVIDIA THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE GONNA CHECK:
DO NOT CHECK TELEMETRY FUCK NVIDIA APP

(no login chatbot ai) (is slow doe so just use your fake mails with gpt n shit)
Now what we do is install dependency shit:
- vcredist: clik here
- net:click here

After you downloaded all these you should be set for dependency stuff.
(if it asks for any telemetry stuff / hey want to send diagnostics just decline it)
Now our last download is 2 softwares:
LibreOffice https://www.libreoffice.org/
And a crypto wallet exodus wallet EXODUS BECAUSE EVEN IF ITS CLOSED SOURCE ITS KYC FREE

Now you can be sort of free on windows
This is nowhere near as close as privacy on something like a custom arch linux build but at least you are not a nerd and have a chance of having
