So, as I did my orthodentic threatment years ago, I got a wire placed behind my front theeth (above and bellow, the goal is to prevent the teeth from moving).
I was wondering if this can be bad for the bones growth ( Chin / mandible).
(My thinking here is that when you get MSE, the front theeth mooves to expand the mandible. So maybe a wire that prevent the theeth from mooving will prevent the mandible from growing too..).
(But I also see that people who get an orthodontic threatment from a young age still grow they mandible while maintaining a good smile so..)
What do you think?)
