Wisdom teeth and their positive/negative impact on facial bone structure

Hello, I am researching the positive and negative effects of wisdom tooth removal on our faces

I have 4 misaligned wisdom teeth

The two upper wisdom teeth grow outward towards the cheek

2 lower wisdom teeth, 1 growing at 40 degrees, 1 growing at 70 degrees

And it's been over a year since they had them all removed, however I read many comments all over the internet about wisdom teeth removal over time causing bone loss and overall deterioration of bone structure.

I was very worried and went to ask 6 dentists that I know, all of them agreed that there was no change and that all the information on the internet was baseless and had no specific evidence and in my case, extraction was the right thing to do to avoid future complications on my entire jaw (xray photo I put below).

However, I'm still very worried and felt my cheeks sunken more after 1 year since the tooth extraction. Currently, I'm not 100% sure it's due to my wisdom teeth because I also do intense sports activities. I wonder what you guys think about my case?

It's not painful, I had the surgery done at the central hospital of the city I live in so it's very professional, but now I'm worried about my 4 extracted wisdom teeth XD

Good to hear bro. Yeah Im not sure tbh my opinion which is probably wrong is that in theory theres some bone resorption, but I think if it was really significant a lot more people would notice and there would be more controversy about the surgery.

check and see if you got similar changes. Sagging, smaller lower third, eyes may sag also from lost of support on upper wisdom teeth, look older.
