wisdom teeth removal during bimax

hi ,

i read that wisdom teeth removal can affect the face negatively...

What about when its done during a bimax? i gotta get a bimax done to fix my class 3 but the surgeon wants to remove my wisdom teeth during the surgery so its easier to do the bimax

will this cause any issues?

Removing wisdom teeth narrows the lower third, depending on how you look it could be beneficial, but 9 times out of 10 it's not.

But u can get bone grafts for the the lower teeth. I think bone grafts for upper teeth are cope though.

It may not be safe.

You’d need to be absolutely certain the teeth are
A) healthy and not infected
B) a straight easy pull

Mine were neither, so a pre-existing infection led to losing the second molar to compression necrosis, this has been ongoing for eight months now and only just beginning to get on top of it.

I can only imagine how fucked I would be if I had that done during bimax. Maybe with enough antibiotics it could be controlled but to me it would be very risky.
