Impacted wisdom teeth

Impacted wisdom teeth definition:
"Wisdom teeth are present in most adults, and they generally become apparent between the ages of 18 and 24 years, although there is wide variation in the age of presentation. Impacted wisdom teeth are third molars that are not ordinarily expected to erupt into functional teeth. Wisdom teeth become partially or completely impacted owing to lack of space, obstruction, or abnormal position. Impacted wisdom teeth may be diagnosed because of symptoms such as pressure, pain, or swelling; by physical examination with probing or direct visualisation; or incidentally by routine dental radiography."

Impacted wisdom teeth cause:
Impacted wisdom teeth (third molars) occur because of a lack of space, obstruction, or abnormal position.

Why you should remove them:
"Impacted wisdom teeth can cause pain, swelling, and infection, and may destroy adjacent teeth and bone."
What's the point of looksmaxxing through other means if your own impacted teeth
can looks min your face through swelling and infection:feelswhy:.
Devolvement or progression of asymptomatic wisdom teeth may cause

"maxillofacial lesions (e.g., odontogenic cysts or tumours)"
So get rid of them my nga:eek:

"Asymptomatic wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, are those that do not cause any pain, discomfort, or noticeable symptoms."

Complications or adverse effects of extraction:
"pain; swelling; prolonged or persistent trismus"
basically, normal shii to expect after getting your wisdom tooth extracted
you'll look like a toad for a week or or two jfl:feelswhy:

Does insurance cover it:
Yes, my nga insurance typically covers it yay!!!
Just got to pay for the consultation ( like 50 dollars)
:feelsgah:

Conclusion:
Impacted wisdom teeth removal is a worthy looksMaxx to consider
Since it can cause maxillary looksmins
What would be the point of looksmaxxing
if your teeth ruined all that progress

+
insurance usually covers that shii:aheago:

Bone resorption is minimal with wisdom teeth and heals on its own after lol.

here is a quote of mine from a past discussion
In support to my statement of "ive read bone reabsorption from wisdom teeth extractions is negligible and corrects itself"( me lol ):
. Araujo and Lindhe (2005) report: “Marked dimensional alterations occurred following tooth extraction, mainly in the horizontal dimension, but healing resulted in bone fill of the socket.”

Rothamel D, Schwarz F, Herten M, Chiriac G, Pakravan N, Sager M, Becker J. Kieferkammveränderungen nach Versorgung frischer Extraktionsalveolen mit polylactidvernetzten beta-TCP Wurzelreplikaten - eine histomorphometrische Tierstudie : Extraktionswundversorgung mit beta-TCP Replikaten [Dimensional ridge alterations following tooth extraction. An experimental study in the dog]. Mund Kiefer Gesichtschir. 2007 Apr;11(2):89-97. German. doi: 10.1007/s10006-007-0050-z. PMID: 17345109.

Its also more then pain and infection if you read the thread

Amazing but let's say you had 1 wisdom tooth impacted and got it removed, the other 3 are fine/not impacted yet but still slightly grown, should one remove the other 3 for symmetry or it doesn't matter ?

it's the same whether you take out all or none. The wisdom teeth don't contribute towards symmetry
