I get all four of my wisdom teeth taken out on Monday, wondering how it will change my facial structure if anything.

Terrible decision unless it’s really neededhow is it gonna fuck me
Do you have any example of people who had bad bone structure/stunned growth after the removal of wisdom teeth?Terrible decision unless it’s really needed
It will make you look way worse![]()
It unfortunately is for me, but how will it make me looks worse. Im genuinely curiousTerrible decision unless it’s really needed

Think about it. you’re literally removing bones from your jaw.It unfortunately is for me, but how will it make me looks worse. Im genuinely curious
Not off the top of my head no but it’s seems quite obvious that it’s not exactly a good thing.Do you have any example of people who had bad bone structure/stunned growth after the removal of wisdom teeth?
Reasoning? since I'm getting a full boney extraction since my jaw does not have enough oral volume for them to come out. Instead, it inflames my gums and applies pressure to my teeth making it impossible to floss. Also, from what ive read bone reabsorption from wisdom teeth extractions is negligible and corrects itself. If facial support is your concern/ reasoning for this conclusion/ statement the wisdom teeth do not provide structural support.Yikes

Never really looked into it but the idea of removing them just sounds stupidReasoning? since I'm getting a full boney extraction since my jaw does not have enough oral volume for them to come out. In support to my statement about facial support:
. Le et al. (2024) conclude: “No consistent association was found between the presence or absence of third molars and craniofacial morphology.”

In support to my statement of "ive read bone reabsorption from wisdom teeth extractions is negligible and corrects itself"( me lol ):
. Araujo and Lindhe (2005) report: “Marked dimensional alterations occurred following tooth extraction, mainly in the horizontal dimension, but healing resulted in bone fill of the socket.”

Hope I get an answer Pooks but at least rep! my rep is already shit enough jfl.
The top study I gave you was incorrect I cited another study I was reading for fun. I now cant find the orignal since there is so many fricking studies in my history !! ova for meNever really looked into it but the idea of removing them just sounds stupid
I might look into the studies later tho
