For the past 2 months I had to go to the dentist to get the infection and puss removed from my wisdom tooth the back lower right one. The infection and swelling radiates towards my lower jaw and now the infection came back and I'm thinking of getting the tooth extracted. Idk how true it is but somewhere I read that removing wisdom teeth will ruin your jaw but I'm 24 years old and I don't know if I should get it removed or not, the infection keeps coming back the swelling and pain so any advice or help will be appreciated.

Get it removed, If it's causing pain/damage. You'll notice swelling in the first 1-2 weeks, after that you should be normal, consult with your dermatologist/dentist before getting it removed.

No, my brother got them removed a few months ago and after the swelling went away he didn't see a difference in his jaw. You should still consult with a professional but for your question no it doesn't.
