Wisdom teeth starting to protrude and it's starting to bother me, should I remove the skin or the teeth. Will this affect my jaw? idk wtf to do :loliPls: :feelsrope:

The "skin" u see is actually gum tissue and the teeth are beneath it. You should never try to remove either the gum tissue or the teeth yourself because it can lead to severe infection, so just go to a dentist

Removing wisdom teeth does not recess the jaw. Your mandibular bone (jawbone) won’t recede from the extraction itself. The shape of mandible and maxilla are determined by genetics and functional forces, not by the presence of molars. Removing the tooth only causes remodeling of the alveolar socket, not the jaw

gums hurt too much when inflamed :sadCat: I got anxious asf last night and cut a small piece off and went to sleep
take something to calm u down and reduce inflammation( local pharmacy gives it), not worth the teeth extraction

I got an appointment with my dentist today. I just wanted to know whether or not extractions would recess me, im telling the nigga to cut the skin off the teeth though cuz whenever it is inflamed it bothers me alot im not planning on extracting anything
