Wisdom teeth

Should I get my wisdom teeth removed I heard some people say it can effect how your jaw looks and my dentist did not give me a reason why they needed removed and they haven’t caused me any pain

if they dont cause u pain then dont remove them
its the same effect when old niggas get their teeth removed and it leaves their shit recessed as fuck

it wont change anything, you will have swelling after getting them extracted but other than that
I mean, if you have no reason for removing them then don't but if they are growing in the wrong direction and moving your teeth than it will do more harm than good in the long run if you don't get them extracted

Usually they have to be removed because the jaw is too small to support them

not trying to flex but my ortho told me I have to reason to get them out after doing jaw and teeth xrays

eh @jr49506 is right the wisdom teeth can just be like another molar if ur jaw is big enough (depends on how the tooth develops)

I don’t think it should cause noticeable recession AFTER wisdom tooth removal, if anything it may allow the back of the cheeks to be sucked in slightly more

But the reason one needs to get removal is due to genetic and developmental jaw shrinkage from the modern diet.

So needing removal = recession, the removal itself ≠ more recession
