So, yesterday i went to the dentist, and seems like i need to put braces(and for that remove my wisdom tooth) and cut the tongue frenulum, im not really worried about the last one, but i heard that the wisdom thooth help mandible growth, i told her that and she responded saying i already have overdeveloped mandible but underdeveloped maxilla and that it wont benificiate me keep them, keep in mind i´m 17. Any suggestions?

Same shit, they told me back then, despite both being underdeveloped

Just remove it man, it's unlikely to cause permanent changes to your face shape or jawline.

If you don't get your wisdom teeth removed when recommended, they can cause problems like tooth decay, gum disease, and even damage to nearby teeth, potentially leading to pain, infection, and the need for more extensive dental work lateR.

Not to mention, Wisdom teeth are located in a separate area of the jawbone (dental alveolus) and not directly attached to the main structural bone of the jaw, so their removal doesn't affect the jawline's shape.

Alright then, seems like one less problem, just one thing, and what about the frenulum, she told me it would help me have a more healthy tongue posture

Just the frenulum if it’s causing you speech problems.

Do you have significant inward bending or crowding of the lower teeth? That could indicate an imbalance between the jaws-though it doesn’t necessarily mean one is "overdeveloped." It might just mean that one is even more underdeveloped than the other.

Do not tell these Redditors- they’ll crucify you for that kind of heresy.

Nope, my theeth close with each other(idk how to explain) when she told me the normal would be to close with the upwards thooth 30% in front of the lower ones

Remove all of your teeth while you’re at it.
