Mogger! Im thinking of going to Qingdao

I lived there for about 15 months. Lovely place. Can get hashish there pretty easily. Go to Beijing Road near the old train station and find a Uighur restaurant. They'll sell it to you. Lots of good brothels in that area too. Go at night because none of that shit is available during the day.

Qingdao is a little too international for my blood after everything's all said and done though. My wife is from the capital of Shandong, Jinan.

Yes I can.

Learn from an audiobook and avoid living in cities like Qingdao. My first city was Wenzhou. I spent 8 months there. They're filthy rich but not so international.

I first went to Wenzhou in 2011 not knowing a word of Chinese. I had an audio phrase book for beginners. My environment forced me to learn fast. In three months I was pretty conversational. I fucked a lot of hookers and hookers can't speak English.

Taxi drivers were a big part of my journey. Taxis are dirt cheap in China and you don't tip them. You can talk to them about anything too and they won't get offended. I used them a lot for practice.
