I’ve seen 4 or 5 BMWF walking around today in Luxembourg of all places. I don’t know where you all live where you never see this, but i want to know because I’ve been to most of Western Europe now and they are all over the place.

statistics > anecdotes. statistics cover a much larger sample size whilst anecdotes go by a much more limited sample size and observations could be wrong as some of those "couples" you see IRL could just be friends or colleagues for instance. online dating site statistics are far more concrete with a vast array of samples as well as those samples not being able to be mistaken for non dating related matters.

I thought that some of those studies were based on self-reported dating preferences, so that’s what I was referring to when I spoke of a hiding of real preferences. In any case, in my experience there is a significant discrepancy between the findings of these studies and what I see in the real world. I think it’s possible that the sexual/dating preferences of Gen Z haven’t registered in these studies yet.
