Pic related is the skeleton of a longbow archer, whose drawing weight is near 120-150 pounds.
Pay attention to the left arm, which is longer and thicker.

Longbow archers trained since childhood, I doubt you'll get longer and thicker bones in your arm if you're already an adult.

I doubt it since they started when they were young, but yes this could be a case of survivorship bias

all of them were like that? or this specific guy? you know where i'm going with this. this had nothing to do with wolf law. it's like those arm wrestlers beasts of today. they were all born like that, with 2 or even 1 massive forearm that gave them advantage from the beginning, which is why we hear about them.

Likely and worth considering, but I doubt people in the past had the means to thoroughly select so precisely given the time

there's an x ray of a professional tennis player where you can see that his serve arm is longer and thicker. can't find it anymore though

Not just this there's plenty of evidence available online. Tennis player's arm that he serves with is longer and bigger, boxer' s knuckle are denser etc . Wolff law is true but wheather it can make a meaningful difference to your looks when you punch the key areas of face is up for debate.

of course it's true, it's a medical law. i think the problem is that you'd have to put a ton of effort into it. compare it to the tennis player that plays tennis for multiple hours almost every day for years, no one is gonna put all that time into smashing your face with a hammer.

Yeah exactly, not to even mention the long term effect of hitting your fucking skull repeatedly.

It's like some people think you can only receive brain damage from heavy hits:feelsuhh:

@delusionalretard Good thread though OP, it's actually interesting just to know how the human body can adapt to long term stressors/use
