If a woman is in the 50th percentile of female attractiveness, even if she might be objectively a bit better looking than a male in the 50th percentile of male attractiveness, she's still just a mid looking woman because clearly 50% of women are more beautiful than she is. Pretty much why a 5'10 man is also not considered tall, even if he is technically taller than most women.
