You're absolutely right. Looksmaxxing is merely an individual solution to a structural/societal problem. An individual man is simply responding to incentives ("women are now allowed to primarily select for looks therefore I must follow suit in order to get myself a woman"). The real solution is a total revolution which aims to limit and regulate women's mating options.

The thing that makes me sad in all of this is how much men improve themselves for women while women get worse year by year in everything but looks and even that is arguable
