This is just biology, independently on the gender most people that "attempt" suicide just try to cope with the fact that theyre going through literal hell and struggle to speak openly about it so they harm themselves in hopes of getting some attention or recognition from other people. The fact that effective suicide rates on men are higher is just due to the fact that we tend to take more extreme decisions
