Theres a couple of things that come to mind.

First, Intersex basically in short means that you share traits of the other sex. Most important biological prepositions. I particularly have noticed that women not only look more masculine, but behave more masculine. This also aligns with the scientifically data with how birth control and other factors of modern living can masculinize womens brain pattern. Likewise, the opposite has been happening with men. With men not only becoming more estrogenic, but thinking in the same pattern.

This is relevant because i think this is an important key to note why such behaviors are tolerated by "men" in the first place.
