Women are considered more "caring" because they CONCEPTUALIZE pain and others' flaws -- doesn't mean they FEEL them or BEAR with them.
Men are considered less "caring" because they ACTUALLY FEEL the struggle, even if they express it less -- doesn't mean they don't EMPATHIZE with others. They just don't want to waste time/burden themselves/worry about the futility of many minor problems usually of others.
Women take on more nursing, medical, caregiving and etc. than men for a few reasons: it's easier; it's expected of them; they can conceptualize/sympathize more. Women can SEE FROM THE OUTSIDE the suffering and want to "help," but guys see the suffering DEEPER so they don't want to attach themselves to it. Guys generally avoid this so they SEEM less caring, but many times it may be THE OPPOSITE -- they may CARE TOO MUCH that they don't want to hurt themselves by being too connected as this takes A LOT OF EMOTIONAL TAX to utilize.
Men take on these jobs less also because: it's not masculine; they don't care to sympathize -- guys want to FIX, not weep or "aid" problems. Guys want to SOLVE the root causes, whereas women are fine AIDING a cause even if there's no solution because they sympathize, not empathize -- KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! Just because women APPEAR more caring doesn't mean they deeply, truly care -- same with the inverse.
