In real life the dark hair is a dime a dozen among commoners and isn't special. Why do you think so many top male actors have blond(ish) hair? (Brad Pitt, Leonardo Dicaprio, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Walker etc). Because any darkie standing next to them becomes invisible.
