It didn't take 1-2 years lol. It has existed on lookism.net in the 2010s and even before. Male aesthetics have been talked about since before the Christian Era in the Ancient Greece times.
You can also go to BOTB threads or just browse through old looksmax threads and see people talk about mewing, bonesmashing and AAS there.
It's just that the mainstream focus of male aesthetics shifted more towards the face from the physique.
