If I've learned anything from my years on this planet it's how to see through bullshit and understand the sad reality underlying the lies that people tell you to make yourself feel better.
Some of these, if not all, are phrases every young man will encounter at least once in their life, if not then you're either lying to yourself or you're a Vasiliy Stepanov-esque phenotype terramogger who went 1/1 in the dating scene and never tried again. In the following post I attempt to translate to the best of my ability what each phrase means, so that if you're a copefueled tard you can at least be wary for the future.
They include, but are not limited to:
"I'm just not ready for a relationship right now" = "You're not attractive enough"
"I'm trying to work on myself currently (lie)" = "You're not attractive enough"
"I'm trying to work on myself currently (truth)" = "You're not attractive enough for me to work on myself with, instead i'll have Chad help me fix myself"
"You're too good, I'd ruin you" = "You're not attractive enough"
*ghosted after hook up/date* = "I was drunk or delusional/you're not as attractive as you seemed"
"I'm going through a rough time in life right now" = "You're not attractive enough"
I'm sure by now you get the gist. If you genuinely believe that the other party is taking the time to stay single to improve on themselves or they're trying to fix their mental/physical, you are deluded. If you were the necessary boyfriend/husband material they felt fit their standards, you wouldn't be getting ghosted, led on, or outright rejected. Granted, I'll give the benefit of the doubt that there are truly a select few who mean what they say, but through my own experience and that of my peers, statistical extrapolation seems appropriate. Looks don't matter at all, they only determine every aspect of your life.
