At some points the system has to collapse, either because incels actually unite (very low change tbh) or due to low population, but it'll be a long time until then. I don't think the system is artificially engineered, it's just a byproduct of the development of society. With women becoming independent, they no longer have to find a man to support them, which causes hypergamy. I wouldn't even hold women accountable for that, as it is in their biological nature to be the "genetic filter".
