i have 5 hours on witcher 3. its decent but i stopped playing it because rpg games in general have steep learning curves (not like fps games where u just shoot people) and dont provide constant dopamine. i have been meaning to play it again for ages but ive been too lazy. i can really only play these kind of games when i have no internet since im forced to

saved up money from my job at the tomato-factory.

I got fired last month but i'll have unemployment benefits for the next 6 months cuz of this so next 6 months will be perfect for videogame maxxing.
And then i'll find some other job, maybe try lifemaxxing again. See how my mental-state is in 6 months.

I honestly don't do too bad when I am grinding, like my results are 'decent'. But I always feel like I am behind on my peers, trying to compensate for a bad past, and it costs a shit-ton of energy. An unsustainable amount of energy, which comes crumbling down when some things go bad, then it all falls apart.

Socializing while on the grindset is like having a second-job to me.
When socializing for 'normal people' is leisure time, fun, relaxation.

Same with working-out. For normal people, sports is leisure time, relaxation. For me it was pushing myself to become stronger and better-looking, no relaxation. Always trying to go for a new PR, run faster, eat cleaner.

I am just not made for the grindset because it throws me into some sort of perfectionism which is completely unenjoyable for me even when I do see results.

And when I don't grind, I don't get results at all.

Thank you bhai. I appreciate the motivation,and I will try to find a job very soon. Maybe I could start picking up fruits for a bit of money, if that's not too oversaturated. And I will buy it and play some video games, maybe we could play some too.

Minimising effort in life is the name of the game overall.

I think this is the rule to live by.

Things have to fall together into one piece in some way where everything is just super-convenient and has multi-faceted benefits.
Example:
U do some sports that makes u more fit, also relaxes you and you engage in with passion giving you energy, and also gives you social-contact with other people. Then you basically strike 3 times with 1 activity.

Else ur more like me where I do sports just do get more fit. Then I have to find some social-activity just for social-interaction. And then I need another activity to relax. 3 times the effort.

everything is peak right now holy fuck man.

im coming from a 1060 3GB and even on the absolute lowest settings I couldn't even reach playable 30fps on native 1440p on any game of the past 5 years. So I often had to play on 720p rendered on my 1440p display just so I could play Apex Legends with playable frame-rates for example

I remember playing DayZ a lot and my entire combat-strategy revolved around me knowing that as soon as a gunfight broke-out, my fps would tank to ~15 due to the gunfire effects. At this point it was impossible for me to aim so I would camp 1 door or hallway so that I could just hold down my mouse, not having to aim but just shoot down a hallway as my fps started tanking.

Also if anyone threw a smoke-grenade anywhere in my vicinity, my fps went sub-10 and I was absolutely fucked. Luckily most people didn't use smoke-grenades. It was the hidden anti-MoggerGaston weapon.
