I never had a teaching job, it was an internship. It made me realize I’m not cut out for teaching. But uh, yes, it was in a different city, so committing took an hour and a half. I had ten hour shifts, mostly in a chilled room. The few pros (getting picked up, free meals) didn’t outweigh the cons.

I completely agree with you. ROI from being a staff member here is better for non-financial reasons. But it’s not always about the money. Working a shitty job like mine was bad. I should’ve known something was up when I got hired so quickly.
