looking back, when I had my retail job I was much more social and NT (it was to a point where id even hit on some of the women that walked in resulting in some slays) but since I've discovered internet money I've regressed to a functioning retard socially.

These jobs forced me to
talk/approach random people constantly for 8 hours a day and train my brain to be as NT as possible in order to upsell customers.

You'll also get use to rejection/people blatantly ignoring you as if you don't exist which can translate to cold approaching if you still believe in that lmao.

Working retail or in the service industry general can really help with social skills. But it gets more and more exhausting the longer you work in certain places. Depending on how sensitive you are as a person, you might even get burned out. Nowadays I strive to get a security job where I just have to sit and chill except for walking rounds every couple of hours.

I don't mind physical work even if I'm wrecked but it can be incredibly taxing if you're dealing with entitled morons. Although it depends on what customer service, some are harder than others.
