It’s anyone’s game to be honest but I got my money on England pretty confidently.

But we played abysmal last game, especially compared to what we produced in the Azteca under those conditions. We got straight up lucky yesterday. Would’ve probably been eliminated if Sørloth wasn’t a greedy fuck actually passed the ball to Haaland (but I thank him for that). You won’t see him next world cup . We’ve had some good games though, and seem to produce just enough to win each time we play (same as Argentina).

Argentina looks pretty vulnerable, they aren’t sharp. Their opponents, especially in the knockout stages, should have been easy opponents that they should have handled without difficulty. Argentina have revealed a lot of weaknesses throughout, especially on counter attacks. If not for the red card for the Swiss, they would’ve had a legit chance to win. Egypt lost because their focus was all over the place and were far too emotional over the (admittedly bullshit) calls which should have at least been analysed with the same scrutiny as the calls made in favour of Argentina.

Basically they’ve both been scrappy.

Argentina attack basically only relies on Messi and their 4 midfielders can barely keep the ball. They haven’t played against a proper offensive team, until they come against us. If we don’t go defensive after a one goal lead, and keep on the attack, we will bring it home. Egypt played so fucking easily through Argentina for 2, almost 3 goals and I think England will produce something similar.

England are far more solid overall, Jude, Kane, Gordon are playing world class football and Jude has become a serious threat. Jude is better than messi right now. Argue with the wall. If they keep their composure and do exactly we know they can produce, they will bring it home. Tuchel has been a great manager, he’s made the right changes at the right time, it’s sometimes the players that don’t perform to what he expects, and his comments after yesterday’s game show that. Southgate would be praising the boys for the diabolical performance yesterday and that’s not what they need.

Don’t give a fuck what anyone says but England will be playing against mystical forces. Didn’t believe it before, but there’s something to it and it’s not even deniable. If Argentina go through I genuinely hope they get fucking obliterated in the final, not because they beat England but because they should not be here in the first place.
