“Years and years of progress in gene editing and collaboration between researchers and clinicians made this moment possible, and while KJ is just one patient, we hope he is the first of many to benefit from a methodology that can be scaled to fit an individual patient’s needs,”. The first steps towards improving humanity have started. I hope these technologies will be implemented as the norm in the future. We can finally save people from ugliness and make people truly equal if gene-editing and CRISPR technologies advance and are studied even further.

I hope this technology will be shared with the masses. The only risk with this is that only the rich and wealthy will have access to it.

I believe that gene-editing and crispr will be as normal as vaccines are now for example.

If gene-editing and crispr were accessible to everyone, it would be a net positive to humanity thus improving living standards and happiness everywhere. Countries with a public welfare system will most certainly implement this.

Gattaca, but also reminds me of something I briefly watched on Netflix, where everyone is perfect and young.

Then humans will progress even further. We will be unimaginably attractive, tall and intelligent in the future if gene-editing becomes the norm.
