Worth buying a new phone?

I have an iPhone 12, its back is shattered, the charger wire is almost fully uncovered, the lock button is not working and the battery barely lasts half a day. I was thinking of buying an iPhone 14 Plus, I don't wanna overspend on a fucking phone but I don't know if even this one would be worth the investment. Thoughts?

The battery life on it was pretty bad mine only charged up to 80% within the first year of owning it, it overheated whenever I tried to load anything other than socials and it was hella glitchy. I didn’t get a good experience with mine lol

Never bought a phone in my life, every single one I just convinced family to pass to me until I now have a iphone 14, but its worth it getting a new phone but I wouldnt aim for newer models since they rly arent much different to old ones

Its pretty good yea, but not rly much diff to like an iphone 13 or my old iphone X

I prefer androids over iphones because of how much more freedom they give you to file transfer to a pc and back up all your photos. Replaced my iPhone xr with a Samsung galaxy s25+
