Surely a teenager wouldn’t go bald, even if he was roiding, right?

Yes. I started balding as a teen from creatine because of my sensitivity to DHT. If I ran test it would have been over for my hairline.

Of course they could. It all comes down to DHT levels in scalp, which are highly elevated when some of excessive testosterone is reduced.

Well, I highly doubt its due to creatine.

Well, I know for certain it was because as soon as I stopped creatine so did my hair loss.
How old were you? Quite a few people lose their temples in late teens.

So what? Correlation does not equal causation. Don't you forget that when you decided to stop taking it, you've also started to observe how you hair responded. That may lead to inproper conclusion, just because you've had some bias towards it.
There is no known path that is significant and may contribute to hair loss when it comes to creatine.

Creatine SIGNIFICANTLY increases DHT, and I was clearly sensitive to DHT and started balding because of it. Do you understand how hair loss works?

From 16 to 20 I went on and off creatine and every time I was on I noticed significantly more hair loss.

I'm afraid I do and I'm yet to see serious studies that support your premise. Taking creatine supplements leads to better performance by simplest mechanisms out there. I've been taking it, people I know have been taking it, people on bodybuilding forums and here have been taking it - to almost none of the such a thought crossed their mind. Prove me wrong if you can link some convincing studies with huge sample.

pretty normal to have temple thinning around that age, probably a coincidence if no studies can back that claim

Study showing creatine raised DHT levels after only 7 days of supplementation: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19741313/#:~:text=The ratio of DHT:T,conversion of T to DHT.

Most people won't experience what I did because they're not as sensitive to DHT but I clearly was hence why I'm on finasteride now and no longer using creatine.

Participants: College-aged rugby players (n = 20) volunteered for the study, which took place during the competitive season.
Great sample. Especially when the study in looking mostly at loading phase.
