Pereira has already beaten Adesanya twice in kickboxing, even being the only person to knock Adesanya out.



But it’s now 2022, 5 years after they last fought. The biggest difference is also that they will be fighting in MMA this time instead of kickboxing. Adesanya has proven himself by becoming the middleweight champion and until now Pereira has been knocking everyone out they’ve put in front of him. The question is will Adesanya allow it to become a straight kickboxing match or will he try to wrestle Pereira?

I think Pereira knocks out Adesanya, but seeing as Alex is already 34 I can see Adesanya getting the belt back in a couple years, months even.

Prediction boyos? Don’t know who to tag cause I don’t know who the MMAcels are on looksmax.

adesanya because there aren't really good strikers in ufc is all about wrestling and jiu jitsu
 
Adesanya is a better striker now but it would be fun, I like pereira a lot. I wanna see Ulberg vs. Pereira

Adesanya is not a good wrestler, only his takedown defense is good. Pereira mogs him on the feet, I see no way for Adesanya to win this one.

Boxing is mad underrated and UFC Boxing is still at a poor level, once a Boxer learns how to defend leg kicks and take downs they can be lethal like Anderson Silva, but he also had really great Thai Boxing

What's an actual fight? In most street fights, a boxer would knock anyone out before they could do anything, and if it's a wrestler trying to wrestle, they're risking getting knocked over the head with a bottle. Only in a controlled environment where wrestling is allowed, like an mma match, will a wrestler have the advantage
 
Tittysanya will just point-fight him if they ever do cross paths. The time he got KO'd was a result of his own recklessness in a fight he was winning. He won't make that same mistake again and will instead see it out to a boring decision like he did against Romero.

It would probably just be a kickboxing fight, adesanya never shot for a takedown on anyone so neither would wrestle.

I think any good wrestler beats Pereira easily, but his style is a good counter against Izzy since he also is bad at wrestling
