Since your muscle near the philtrum is basically paralyzed it uses the muscles near your upper lip to chew and drink. This seems like it causes smile lines to deepen. @bddcoper have you noticed anything. Also how thin was your upper lip, I’m going to see if I can do half a unit on each of the 4 points instead of a full unit to try it out first.

No but I've also always had some smile lines bc of a dogshit nasolabial fat pad. They look about the same idt 5 units should do much. Also it's all temporary anyway the botox doesn't last so even if you do get smile lines bc of muscle use it'll go away but it's only a partial paralysis.

My lips were always thick including my upper. My upper lip got a big bigger now so my lower to upper ratio is 1.2 tho my lower lip is ideal so it looks normal. Imo that ratio is cope any bc most foids get filler for a 1:1 ratio so worst case it's female gaze with an ideal lower lip

Half unit won't work btw. U need minimum 4-6 with 1-1.5 in the middle two points. I only saw a 1.5-2 mm reduction with 5 units so if u do 2 units total ur results will be negligible.

Yeah it upturns ur upper lip and i have noticed it does accentuate the nasoloabial folds but only because it kinda changes ur lip seal and u end up almost puckering ur upper lip by default

It stopped because ive been actively micro stamping this whole area to improve the collagen but it will be less noticeable than filler obviously.

Scheduled an appointment will be getting 4 units 2 on each side on the points you indicated.

Maybe it's too soon for me to notice that's good to know then now I'm definitely gonna stop and go through with pdo screws/monos. I'm bloated to oblivion from high dose gh peptides so it's even harder for me to notice changes to my folds bc that area is so bloated but tbh I don't think botox lip flip is sustainable or worth the cost it's only worth the result imo unless you diy it but even then u will need higher doses every time and its annoying to have to repeat botox every month or two
