I'm not that sure since he won't be flexing all the time. So unflexed masseter muscles would be bigger, but not as sharp

Yea. Hypertrophy should cause the masseters to look more engorged like any muscle. Don't do it though lol. When you flex them looks similar to mine, it adds girth but makes you look more round. Looksmin imo, better to be angular. Fits prettyboy aesthetic more.

Rounded face result depends on insertions and Clenching is not a good way to determine insertions

What did you use to eliminate your face fat? I don`t have that much but I`m working on getting it completely gone. Also your eyebrows?

chewing helps develop a good jaw and shit but only when u r young. if u r like above 16, chewing will only help masseter muscles, which can be quite a good halo tbh

Muscle thickness increases "almost" uniformly while clenching and if the upper part of ramus is wider than the lower part it'll give a rounded look making you think you've high set one.
Personally my face becomes rounded when I clench but I noticed the masseters are thicker at bottom when relaxed.

For me I found that my masseters due to regular exercising of them got a "pump" akin to how you would with weight training other muscle groups that left my masseters appear very similar to the clench - enough that when clenching there wasn't much of a visible difference in movement. Didn't like the rounded look as I have a prominent chin and typically look very angular. I stopped due to that but maybe through hypertrophy the rested state without a pump after ceasing frequent exercises would look less rounded.
