Would expansion type braces help or shit on forward growth and jaw growth?

I keep seeing people saying braces will recess but they talk about retractive braces,what about expansion based braces? (self ligating/damon)

Don't get them pre 21. Your palate usually helds more to your mandible growth. If your going to keep your palate from expanding your jaw usually obliges the same rule. Let your maxilla lower and upper expamd and grow till it can. Then your dental aesthestics are a matter of shorter time.
