It is well known that failed sewer-slide attempts can sadly leave people with severe disabilities. Would it be selfish if you were to save a person who no longer wishes to exist and force them to live life of pain and no autonomy?

Would the person still be depressed after this or no?
If they are still depressed, then it would be amoral
If not then it's moral

Good thread made me think

They would likely be more depressed as the previous thoughts are still with them and they are now unable to move.
