Would lining be softmaxx or hardmaxx?

I always thought pinning was a hardmaxx but some people on here were describing it as a softmaxx, what is the difference? Also does what you are pinning change it?

hardmaxx is strictly surgical procedures pretty sure. Pinning is just an extreme softmaxx

Pinning is still softmax as it’s not a surgical procedure. It is the most extreme softmax tho, linear to hard maxxing in some situations.
