Hey, I’m 19 and currently staying in Bangkok for a while.
I’ve been thinking about getting a sliding genioplasty in South Korea. I got quoted around $3,000, which is very affordable. I’ve been insecure about my chin/side profile for a long time, so now I’m considering fixing the issues as im in the plastic surgery capitals of the world
I haven’t seen my family in about 3 months, and if I do it, I’d probably go back home around 1–2 months after surgery.
I’m also looking into a few other things while I’m here, like Aqualyx injections in my cheeks/chin (i found a place in bangkok that does it for around 300 dollars per injections) and fat grafting under and above my eyes because I always look tired. Not trying to look like a different person, just like a less busted version of myself.
Also while I’m in Korea, I’m doing a few consultations. One is a professional skin analysis . Another is at a plastic surgery clinic where they do 3D imaging + CT scans to analyze my facial structure and proportions and suggest what would actually suit my face. And the last one is an official symmetry analysis where they assess everything and then directly improve things using their own techniques.
My question is: if I combine all that, would family and friends actually notice I had stuff done? Even if they haven’t seen me in months? Or would it be more like “he looks good” and they can’t tell why?
I’m not trying to come home and have my family think i went crazy getting surgerys as they are very old school and they’ll either think I’m insane or make it way more dramatic than it needs to be. And to be fair, This does sound a little insane when I type it out.
Also, are these dumb procedures to combine, or doable if the goal is natural results? I’m trying to improve things, not come back looking AI generated.
Be honest.
