While I would make the same choice, height is not overrated whatsoever. It is the only physical attribute that can even remotely compensate for a subpar face.

I have to imagine pretty much every guy with a decent social circle has at least one tall friend who is treated like a chad or chad-lite who would otherwise be a dead average normie without their height.

I have close friends who are average-height chads and 6'2/6'3 chads. The difference in how they're treated going out in public is immense sui-fuel if you aren't tall.

Of course the average height chad would get plenty of attention in social scenes, but the tall chads would get attention EVERYWHERE.
It's like being a main character in every sense of the word.

I.e, we were walking down the sidewalk near our university and a group of college girls drove by us and literally SCREAMED "fuck me in the ass!" at my tall chad friend. And there's a million other stories I could tell of girls giving the tall chads attention completely outside of normal social settings. We've literally had groups of girls come up to us just to talk to my tall chad friends, laughing at any and everything they say. One of them in particular is so generically good looking that we've had decent looking girls follow our group from bar to bar despite any of us talking to them for more than ~10 minutes. Despite the average-height chad having one of the most generically good looking faces I've ever seen, nothing even remotely like these things has happened while I've been hanging with him.

So while I would never say height is more important than face, it certainly isn't overrated in any sense - at least in the U.S.

I live in Germany, you see super tall people everywhere. The (soon) husband of my sister is a 6'7" or 6'8" guy wit a 4/10 face + hardcore nice guy with a good career/family. My sister is his first girlfriend in hi whole life and he is my sisters first boyfriend also. He met her at 33yo and for sure he was not slaying before, jfl.
In my apartment complex, there are a lot of single men around 40yo. One is a 5'6" manlet, the others are above average height, 5 guys ranging from 6'3" to 6'7", all 3-4.5/10 facially. I haven't seen the manlet or the tall guys with a woman in years while my 5'10" ass brings home a different girl every week.

No, they don't really care - though they are obviously aware they are good looking. One is about to graduate UNI and one graduate with me and is currently working at a massive engineering firm.

I haven't talked to them about it too much, but I think when you've been good looking your whole life, the idea of being a model isn't that attractive because you've already been receiving so much validation. Plus, male models really don't earn much IIRC. One of my acquaintances (not my UNI friends I've been talking about) is literally one of the PSL gods that gets posted here and in videos from blackpill channels like WheatWaffles - and even being one of the biggest male models on the planet, he's still far from one of the richest people I know.
