Would taking melatonin as a 18 year old yield anything?

I dont have troubles sleeping and I dream pretty regularly, Ive been seeing research and citation's about how melatonin has the potential to increase hgh production by quite a considerable amount, but iam not sure if that would benefit me or not, does it help with recovery after working out or are its benefits not really targeted towards me?

Ive been noticing alot of people recommending and talking about melatonin so I did a quick search, and found out what the hype was about
Keep in mind the research group is near non existent in all of these research papers, but with melatonin being an off the counter drug and it being a rather healthy kind of drug, it wouldn't really be an issue if it doesn't raise hgh, it would still help you sleep well with nearly no side effects

Its ok, it wayyyyy to early to tell at the moment haha, but dont expect to grow you would rather reach your true height which is +3-4 cm more,

I believe I will get taller though, because a few years ago when I was still in puberty, I got measured at a hospital and they measured me at 175 cm and a bit, right now iam 173 cm flat, and my apt got worse with time

I will be making a post about this in 6 months time, or if I notice an abnormal amount of increase in height, I dont mind tagging you whenever that happens

How old are you, im 18 and have been stretching my hip flexors and back for 2 weeks now. Im pretty sure i measure 1 cm taller then before, but my muscles were really stiff since i've had a sedentary life. My morning height is 176 and laying down height is 180-181 im not sure how much of this is caused by apt. I also can put both of my fists behind me when doing the posture wall test and there is still a gap remains between wall and my hands.

That is insane dude, good job on trying to fix this issue dont stop until its completely fixed

Your progress is extremely fast because of how severe your problem is, keep stretching and strengthening your hip flexors + glutes, iam pretty sure you can reach 180 easily if you really maximize your posture health

Iam 18 too, ill be turning 19 in may, my laying down height if I can remember was 176 and my current height is 173, I haven't really been stretching consistently so I can't blame the lack of increase to the exercises but to my own laziness

Thank you man i’m sure we will both reach our potential height hopefully. I’ll try to inform you in my progress

how tf is that possible? my morning height and laying down height is equal.

make sure that u are straightenibg ur back and getting slightly on ur tiptoes while ur heels are touching the floor when you are measuring urself

its because of apt (anterior pelvic tilt) and in his case its pretty damn severe this is how it look like:
1772729174409

as you can see the lower back arches and compresses leading to a decrease in visible height, as I said before your not going to be gaining any height you'd just be regaining the amount you lost over the years of bad posture

Also this is only one issue you could have multiple posture issues that help exaggerate the loss of height

its not vodooo or cope, its just fixing your posture, if you already go to the gym and put effort into your schedule/workouts you would probably have great posture in the first place
