I have sleep apnea and i saw that a fix for it could be double jaw surgery, pretty sure my insurance would cover it so would this work as an excuse to get free double jaw surgery to accend or is this shit not gonna work, do i contact my doctor or orthodnist since its a dental surgery.

Prove it with a sleep study, basically no one has a postive a sleep study unless obese if you are younger then 30

i have been diagnosed with sleep apnea when i was obese, not anymore but i still have the same sleeping problem so they would probably take the bait

Yes its worth a shot. A better shot is possible in some countries. See what surgeons you can do it through. Most importantly be sure they are aesthetics focused, can do things like rotation and impaction/downgraft if you need it, and ideally custom plates.

Yep. Sleep apnea will get medical insurance coverage via sleep studies. But you’re then also at the will of whatever blockhead surgeon is in network who almost certainly cannot perform at the aesthetic capability you likely desire.

Sometimes you can get lucky and get a solid surgeon via insurance, it’s just less common, so tread accordingly.

just worth a shot even if i dont get an aesthetic surgeon i dont think id be disappointed with the results and im assuing later on when im older to grt cosmetic surgeries i could be able to just get custom plates, not sure if its posible tho

bimax is something you want to one and done. Bone rapidly grows over titanium. Trying to revision it a decade later would be a literal nightmare in the amount of bone overgrowth there would be. Either take it now while free, get most of the result and augment with other surgeries (better idea) or wait and save for out of network.

In order to be diagnosed with sleep apnea do u have to do a sleep study and what are some symptoms u had so i can know if i have it?
