I was at the grocery store this morning and it had just opened for the morning place was completely empty. Anyway I went to checkout my stuff and the cashier was a foid. she a bit chubby. Definitely still fuckable though.
Anyway she says "how are you doing today" and as an autistic I kept my head down and just said "good" and avoided eye contact. Then shes like "so you got work ahead of you today" I said no, just got off work I work nights.. Then she went on this rant about how her dad works nights for like 2 minutes even though she already scanned my shit and I paid in the card reader. I said some stuff back, and I definitely noticed a lot of laughing and she seemed really bubbly I guess. Seemed like the whore kept smiling and her voice sounded very warm. She just kept talking I swear for like 3 minutes and I was cringing the whole time because my ability to fraud NTness goes down the longer the conversation is. I just wanted to escape the situation, I was giving like one word answers so she would stfu but she just kept going.
After like a whole 3 ass minutes after the receipt printed she's like "well I'll see you later I hope you sleep really well tonight teehee"
I was walking away and I thought, huh tf why did she keep going on and on, maybe this is one of those mythical IoIS people talk about. But I have always thought that employees don't give IOIs they are just being friendly for work. Would an NT guy have asked for her snap or something in this situation????
Anyway, I do know one thing, I'm never returning to this store again, I feel violated that somebody wanted to talk to me when I thought I was in a place safe from social interaction. Still cringing at my social incompetence.
