It's a good hairstyle, but I feel like it wouldn't suit most of guys.

Is a good lower third required for those types of hairstyles? Maybe that creates contrast in angularity between soft hair and strong jaw

I think that shorter hairstyle that Johnny Depp had would suit better than the long one to most guys. I still don't get why, but I just know it mogs more on avg

Yes, I am a grey. I don't spend my days rotting on forums and I have a life.

Despite the fact that hair can ascend you, my point still stands. If you are a chad almost every hairstyle will look good on you. Those of which "don't" won't matter because your face is too good looking for most people to care.
Long hair can look amazing on a man if the man is masculine and good looking. If he is masculine and good looking, the short hair will also likely look good on him.
Just my opinion though

I agree, but u gotta understand that is not a good point to prove if something matters or not. Chad can get away with tons of shit, height, hair, brows, eyes, nose, etc.

That doesn't mean any of those things aren't important. Going to extremes to say X doesn't matter is pretty dumb.
