So say you’re in the USA..

And you go into an electronics based store like a Best Buy during peak time..

Bunch of people walking around…

Barely enough employees for everyone

And you came in with a big plastic bag that you’d use to carry groceries in

You could walk up to the Xbox section, take
the new Xbox out of box casually, put it in the bag you have. Close the xbox box, then put it back where it was..

You obviously open it and throw away the plastic stuff

Then you walk directly to Geek Squad with your bagged xbox, and tell them it’s pretty new, and if you could schedule a time next week to go get it fixed

Then they’ll schedule you, give them a fake name and number

Then leave the best buy casually with your own personal xbox in your grocery bag…

no tags to trigger the exit scanner

no receipt checking since you didn’t buy anything

you gave a name etc and have proof of you having a legitimate concern at geek squad so nobody gonna ask u what you were doing

Sure they might find out and look back and see what you did…

But you already did it. So who the fuck cares??

I see this as super simple…As long as you could make sure for the 2 minutes you were taking out the box that nobody was watching you around there..

I mean honestly you could probably do it in front of people even and if you did it with conviction they’d have no fucking idea what was going on and wouldn’t say anything ..

You could essentially do this around every store like that in your area and beyond at least 1 time..

I could see this working during the plandemic, when everybody had to wear masks.

Now hardly anybody wears the face diapers, and if you try to wear one to conceal identity it would be suspect.

Far fewer variables with a snatch & grab. You run in, grab cash, run away. Obviously a lot more planning would have to go into it.

One quick hit vs 20 different small hits? Eventually the small hits would catch up to you if doing it over & over again.

Also, who would you be selling these Xbox's too? eBay leaves a trace... FB Market, Craigslist? Would be sketchy & you would have to sell at way below face value for cash..

Don’t think each individual xbox is being tracked and the resources to do that cost more then what it’s worth to catch the person
