Would using kojic acid cause lighter hair ?

It inhibits melanin production so I wouldn't want lighter hair because black hair mogs.
 
dark brown hair is ideal color

I think it affects keratin so yeah. What are you using kojic acid for?

I don't use it but was tempted to buy for skin spots
