amd is definitely tier 1 now because they dominate the cpu and console market. they aren't officially faang but they're easily a top tech giant and anyone calling them mid is just coping.

sure thing brotha amd is killing it right now since they have over 40% of the desktop revenue share and a huge chunk of the server market. they aren't mid at all and are basically carrying the gaming and data center industries.

AMD has been one of the biggest beneficiaries from the AI boom, so yes. The more demand for compute, the more GPUs they’ll sell.
